​I have called San Diego home

My whole life. 

And I feel pretty lucky I get to raise my own family here now too.

 

We have four wonderful and wild sons who range from toddler to teen.

​

If I'm not behind my camera, you can probably catch me on my peloton, shuffling my crew from soccer, or reading a good book.

​

Family photography has been a dream of mine since as long as I can remember.

 

For example, at 16, when most would want a car, I was SO excited to be gifted my first “big girl camera”

 

It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do, but being a “photographer” just didn’t seem like a “real job” to me. ……At least at the time.

 

It wasn’t until I had children of my own that I immediately knew I had to pursue my dream. Take a chance. Set an example that it’s okay to try and possibly fail. “Every mom deserves to have these moments saved for a lifetime, and I know what I see is beautiful” so I stepped away from my big girl job, saved to invest in this dream… prayed & prayed again…

 

Now nearly a decade later….

 

I’m still doing what I love because of families like yours. This means everything to me.
